Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Service Manager is a proactive member of the dealership's management team, with direct control of the service department’s operation and management of a team of 7 service technicians. Your main responsibilities will include leading and coordinating a team of heavy equipment mechanics, using effective methods to maximize our mechanic’s time efficiencies and creating positive relationships with suppliers, customers and other department heads within the dealership. You will be required to run an efficient operation ensuring complete customer satisfaction through the efficient sale of service to maximize the department’s profitability. You will be required to quote jobs and invoice tickets. EXPERIENCE: In successfully managing the growth and development of a service department, you will be experienced at developing relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues. You will have the drive and determination to maintain effective company policies and procedures and run a busy department. At least 8-10 years experience in the heavy construction equipment industry. Requires a minimum of 3 -5 years experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
